You’ve seen the hard abs, the incredible biceps and triceps of men in body building commercials on television and you wonder if a mortal being like you can have a great body like the god Adonis himself.

But for you and me, that means instead of doing 25 sit-ups, do just one, but hold it for 15 to 30 seconds, or until you can no longer.

The body then starts to think that muscle and stamina is needed in that area and begins to burn the fat off and build muscle. It happens because the body is lead to believe a lot of stress will continually be put in that area. Now you can’t do just one and you’re done – you have to do this every time you work out. You just don’t need to subject your back to all the strain.

With the muscle contraction and the fat burning foods you are on your way to successfully burning body fat quickly and the healthy way. This is a natural function of the body which burns fat before muscle and if it knows muscle is needed, will not let muscle be lost in the meantime. But watch what you eat – don’t sabotage this system by pigging out on your old favorites. It won’t work and you’ll need to get back on the wagon. And there’s one tip that will help you keep going long term.
